Images and impressions are taken of your teeth. These are digitised and then processed to precisely plan your tooth movements from the beginning to the end of your treatment. A series of aligners will be made to custom-fit your teeth on both upper and lower arches. The aligners will gently and continuously move your teeth in increments until the final position is achieved.

You can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing.

You can eat and drink what you want during treatment. You can also brush and floss normally to maintain oral hygiene.

There are no metal brackets or wires to cause mouth irritation.

The Invisalign Centre refers prospective patients who are suitable for Invisalign to a selection of the most Invisalign experienced providers – both specialist orthodontists and dentists in the Sydney area who will carry out your actual treatment. They are often Platinum or Platinum Elite providers of Invisalign and have a proven record of having treated the highest volume of Invisalign cases in Sydney and have gained the clinical experience in treating a broad range of Invisalign cases. Invisalign experience may differ depending on the area where you wish to be treated

Aligners are thin repositioning plates that fit over the teeth - similar to tooth-whitening trays. They are lightweight and made of clear, strong medical grade plastic that is virtually invisible when worn.

In 1945, Dr. H.D. Kesling envisioned that one day modern technology would enable the use of a series of tooth positioners to produce comprehensive orthodontic treatment.

For years orthodontists and dentists have used removable appliances for limited treatment. Today, with the application of computer technology and custom manufacturing, Invisalign treats a broader range of cases with greater precision.

All orthodontists and dentists attend training before Invisalign cases will be accepted from their practice. Over 30,000 of orthodontists and dentists worldwide are accredited to use Invisalign. Invisalign has been available in Australia since 2001.

Invisalign aligners move teeth through the appropriate placement of controlled force through custom-manufacturing based on your 3D treatment simulation. At each stage only certain teeth are allowed to move, which minimises force. After two weeks of wearing your aligners, teeth will have moved into a new position and you move to the next aligner in your series.

Aligners are comfortable to wear because they are smooth and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth irritations or abrasions.  For the first day or so, some people may experience a sensation of tightness. This tightness can be alleviated by inserting the new set of aligners in your series at night time, before going to sleep.

Invisalign has an affordable and effective way to treat patients who need minor, partial or aesthetic corrections, such as minor crowding or spacing. Ask the Invisalign client co-coordinator for details.
